they told us the weekend before school term that dezi and i had to fight it out for the last spot after jeannel & marianne -.- while dezi was going all out to make damn sure she could shoot for her final school year, i was just dying to be the reserve. and then, school started and i went through the worst few trainings i've ever had since the end of may, what with my lack of stability and my lack of focus and extreme tiredness. so then yesterday, 15 hours before the competition, i was SO relieved when they finally announced that i was going to be the reserve! but then, horror of horrors, dezi was having a fever and a bad headache during yesterday's final training. and miss au was nagging at me to be mentally prepared and everything, so i had to sleep early last night and therefore miss the premieres of ugly betty and private practice! i had to watch private practice online in the evening, and i was so sad cos the quality was so bad ):

so anyway, it was the day of the competition for us rifle girls. they made us report to yishun at 7.30, can you believe it?! both the b & c div girls got 3rd spot in south zone (: quite expected, since it's what we've been getting for the past 3 years. but it's quite a feat, since the other schools in our zone include rgs & kcp. the b div girls missed the 2nd spot by 1 point though, damn! and we beat rgs this year, which is quite cool. nj ip got 1st, stupid. some girl got 393! she was like, in nanyang shooting before this and she is seriously like woah! i found out that the female coach who always scares me (she's always calling girls out during the competition) coaches nj & acsi. zomg, if somehow, i ever decide to go to nj, i wouldn't join shooting cos of the scary woman coach and also because i'd feel like i'm betraying hometeam or something. the scary woman coach is seriously damn good though. apart from nj, acsi b div got 4th overall, and they've been quite lousy for the past 2 years. st pat's got 1st, how gross! and dhs did very badly compared to last year, surprisingly.

congrats to samantha for getting 365 in her first shoot! she had the same score as dezi lah, ohmygosh. also, congrats to jeannel for getting 2nd in south zone as an individual shooter (she lost to the scary nj ip girl) (:

i wasted time today, i could've done so much homework, which i haven't touched at all from yesterday! now, it's 8, i haven't eaten my dinner, and there's dirty sexy money later, so i can't do my homework. oh my, i'm so screwed.

drumming tomorrow; (maybe) yishun on friday with the rifle girls after school to watch the pistol girls; risen christ on sunday morning to raise funds for chiang rai. I'M SO TIRED!!!!! on the bright side, we're off from shooting for 2 weeks (: but that might mean that the sec 4s/5s shoot for the last time during their respective competitions ):
